So I arrived home this week to discover that my room had been turned into a clothing storage. My room is seriously a walk-in closet of old clothes that used to be in the tiny room. There are clothes everywhere. Clothes all over the bed, clothes on the couch, clothes on the floor. My room is like clothing gallore! My brother's roommate is renting out the tiny room for the summer, and so that's the way it has to be.
After 5 years, my brother is home for good. Maybe not home home, but he is no longer 4 hours away.
The week has been pretty good. I've been able to spend time with most, if not all, the people I wanted to see before summer school. =)
Sunday, Father's day: My dad's side of the family ate out for lunch after mass. I saw Michelle and DJ's new house for the first time, and I realized that Michelle has a huge charcoal portrait of herself in her room. Michelle took me to get a haircut, we had some coldstone, and headed over to the Zabala's for a barbecue. Too much food in one day. Man, I suck at wii, but it's fun.
Monday: nothing interesting, just got settled. I met my brother's roommate, Ye.
Tuesday: Cheryl, Jessika, Christie and I headed over to Sylmar to visit Angela. TV and park! =) I love them days.
Wednesday: Frances made my Wednesday.
Thursday: Jess and Cheryl came over to watch TV, and they made me a shake. =) I also visited the Mendozas' new house. I was able to see Melanie whom I hadn't seen in a while.
Tomorrow: lunch with Jay, Camille, and others, then see Rina in the evening.
Saturday: dentist appointment, then move into the apartment.
And that's my vacation! Not all that interesting, but seeing and talking to the people I haven't seen or talked to in a while makes all the difference.
I'm really not looking forward to summer school. Oh well!

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR GRADUATION, BROTHER! I'm so happy for you.
WOW! I have just completed my first year in college. What an accomplishment! A year ago, I would never have imagined that my first year would turn out the way it did. I would never have imagined becoming the person I am now.
I am thankful for the experiences of the year, for the people I've met and the people who have continuously been there with me, for the challenges, etc. This year has been a rewarding one.
It's difficult for me to express how I feel. I can't easily just say what I want to, but for now, I guess all I can say is THANK YOU!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF '07!
You've helped me grow.
And because of change, I'm a little sad and really scared.
Someone assured me that everything will be all right.
I trust that everything will be OK.
"
hey ill take care of you :)"
You make me tear and smile at the same time.
I have a lot of growing up to do.
And thank YOU for your presence in my life.
Thank you for the past week. =)
You're BEAUTIFUL.

Today was a good day. Spent most of it with Kim and one cool second year, namely Bellamay. For some reason, hanging out with people always happens to consist of napping or sleeping.
Dinner with Cristina. Thanks!
Hang out at the office.
So I realize that I can turn ADD on people. I'm sorry my attention span is just so short sometimes.
I'm sorry I missed the dinner. =(
It's a little hard to believe that my first year is pretty much over. One more day of instruction, finals, and then I'm a second year! I hadn't really hit me until I got back into the dorm room to discover that my roommate was already packing for home. OHH NO! It's the real thing now. I can still remember the first day I moved in here and meeting her outside in the parking lot. I remember really having nothing to say to her that day. But I want to say HI KHRYSTYN! I'm so glad my roommate turned out to be someone like you. It is YOU! Thank you for so much that you've done for me, most especially for taking care of me when I'm sick.

This is my roommate, exhausted after having packed NOT EVEN half of her stuff, but PLENTY!

WOW! Can you believe it? It's JUNE!
I'm attempting to write a paper, but I am so unmotivated!
Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that my friend makes me smile. It's just so interesting that she talks about something she loves so passionately. REAL ESTATE. I never would have thought she'd be into that, but SHE IS. As I talk to her about it, it makes me realize how much she's grown. Yay for growing! I can see it in her. She is beautiful, and she's got a bright future ahead of her. If only I could do something like that. She doesn't know it, but she makes me so proud.
This week has been pretty busy. It's so exciting!
Yay for banquet tomorrow!
I know everyone has been working so hard, and I can't wait to witness all the hard work paying off tomorrow. It will be awesome.
P.S. The 2010ers are great!
