Crazy to think how ancient we are (but not really). YO, DJ! You don't read this, but I am proud of you! I remember reading what you wrote me for my birthday last year, and yes, I should be your best friend simply because I was there when it all happened. Anyway, this is me missing Psych for the nth time. I've resolved to accept the fact that this is officially my worst quarter of the year. Why do I suck? WORK HARDER! Get it together! But despite all this school business, I'm feeling pretty optimistic because the fact I WILL get all this work done keeps me going. Only 3 weeks. It won't last forever. And at the end of the year, I'll look back and think HEY I COULD HAVE DONE SO MUCH BETTER, but then realize that maybe things work out the way they do for whatever reason. I'm looking forward to the summer even though I'll be summer-schooling for a good majority of it. Scratch that. I'll be in summer school for practically the WHOLE summer. It's ok. I woke up to three very tired people sleeping in the room. It was only after I showered that I saw the sun lighting up the room. For a second, I thought someone had woken up and turned on the lights, but NO. It was THE SUN. I miss the way you used to wake me up, old friend. Thanks for coming back for even just a little. HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: stranded at the Target parking lot Catholic Appreciation Night. =) I dislike people's photo-taking tactics. HAPPY 24TH DAY OF MAY! Only about two and a half more weeks to go. I kind of envy those who have already finished. It's ok though. I've still got some time to make the most out of this year. I'm soo glad. i said so @ 12:08 AM
I'm indecisive. I think I'm stuck. Gahhh LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. I like that movie. Anyway, I realize that despite all that goes wrong, I am content. I am blessed with more than I will ever know. And when those exceptionally GRAND moments in life come my way, I'll smile. YES! I had a pretty good weekend. My brother came down for an interview, and I spent my whole weekend with the family. I had a pretty wonderful weekend. Started the Friday off with my usual visit to Sarah's office hours after my hum core discussion. This has now become routine since I find her more helpful in chemistry than going to the chemistry discussion. =) Sarah doesn't advocate skipping class, but going to her is probably as good as, if not better than, my chem discussion. After that, I had the usual noon mass and lunch with the Friday people. YAY! Friday night consisted of fun times with some very cool people. We watched Kirs and Dean's gig. This was my first time watching them perform, and they did a fabulous job. We sat and listened as others performed as well. It's really nice to just sit, relax, and listen to songs sometimes. Then ALBERTACO'S! mmMMMmm I headed back home around 7am the next morning. Saturday was exciting because of Leah's debut. I was able to see most, if not all, the IH ladies I haven't seen in months, and being together was just priceless. Everyone still looks the same. Everyone looked so beautiful. BIG SMILE! Now, I miss them. It's Sunday! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I hardly saw my mom today. She left so early, and she worked a 16-hour shift, so I didn't even get to see her before I got back here. Anyway, I love you mommy. And I love what you do for me. I spent the evening at Sunny Heights, where I played with Joann's baby. He is so beautiful. Then, DJ brought Michelle and me back to Irvine. It's weekends like these that make life as rewarding as it is. friends. family. Now I have plenty to do. AHH school! So, I missed out on fun times this weekend. CAMPING IN THE BACKYARD! I'm sorry Camille and Rina. Anyway, my friends are cool. How I would have liked to have woken up to this!  i said so @ 10:27 PM

It also feels really good to be reunited with high school friends. Even though I go to school with a couple of them, it's pretty hard to find the time to get together. It's amazing how visits from other high school friends can make us all come together. I love it when we do. I love my IH sisters! I love the friends from home. I always enjoy seeing faces I haven't seen in a while. I look forward to the summer when more people are free to do things. Until then... This weekend was a good one. I love the Shank-ers. I love the LOG family. I love birthdays. I love the filipino culture. I love my cousin. PCN made me miss KNL. i said so @ 2:50 PM
