Now I remember what I forgot. I forgot to call Claire, even when I was in Michigan.. aww..

I remember last year, when everything was changing, and everything seemed new. I remember, almost exactly last year, buying my freshman books with my cousin, sitting in that circle full of strangers at the orientation, feeling scared on my first day.. and everyone was leaving for college. Everything was so new and different. Now, another school year is about to begin, and I feel like I've gotten a little used to it. It's back to the same routine, except, now we're not the freshmen.

I remember sitting next to the senior in our section circle during orientation, having to say 1 false, and 2 truths about myself, and how I passed my turn as being the 1st person to talk. GT volunteered to go first, and we ended up going counter clockwise. Melo had the most quiet voice, and somehow she became my first friend!

On the first day of school, after getting schedules, I remember comparing my classes with Melo during section, feeling good about having 3 not so great classes with her. I didn't know anybody else then, and I could only talk to Melo. Then in first period, Angela and I compared classes. At first I thought she was really weird, not to mention scary, until she started talking a lot. We made it a habbit to go to chorus, get vending food, go to section, and go to break every day. I always saw Angela all morning. I met partner in chorus. Then, I realized she had been going to my Confirmation class. Sitting between Nellie and partner was awesome!

It took me a while before I talked to Christie. We were paired as Spanish partners, and she kept stealing my white out, while I kept taking her paper. Then, she randomly IM's me one night, and we have a "roachy" convo.. hahaha.. that I sill have. I got to know Cheryl by bugging her some way, I think. I kept warning her that I was going to IM her, but I wanted to make sure she knew who I was first. It was weird. Cool Anna is the coolest! She was sitting by me during our first world civ class. At first, everyone thought he was scary, and Cool Anna was always right there for me to talk to. She stayed with me during welcome dance, and since then, she has been Cool Anna. Then there's sister. I was scared of her. She accidentally IM's me one night, and we end up talking every day, working on English papers the night before it's due.
